Welcome back to Éclat Crew for 2025!

Tonight's challenge is also a part of this month's JAMUARY challenge - a chance to make a track every day for a month from a list of prompts, masterminded and led by our very own Shudrr.

Today's prompt is "Drum Machines!" - which has led to the source of tonight's sample pack.

I have a little Alesis SR-16 Drum Machine - which, according to the "Electronic Music Wiki" is one of the most popular low-cost drum machines to have ever been produced, starting in 1990. It's very cute, but, because I hate reading manuals, it has taken me approximately 2 years to sit down and learn how to use it properly - which I did precisely for today's challenge!

In this sample pack, you have a series of one-shots from the Alesis SR-16, plus some beats, some of which I programmed myself, and some of which are factory presets.

Today's challenge is to make your drums exclusively from sounds from this sample pack. You can add any other synths, instruments, and effects that you like.
