Éclat Part 115

It's dark and gloomy here in Berlin, and so tonight we've got some spacey and spooky sounds courtesy of Everyday Dust on Bandcamp, send to us by Ioana aka Spherical Aberration!

This is what Everyday Dust has to say about their sample pack:

Transforming sounds via magnetic tape is a huge part of my process in creating the Everyday Dust sound world. I also create a lot of sounds by working through my recordings of my tape experiments and sampling little snippets. There are a lot of other sounds to be discovered within these tape textures, and that exploration is something I find very magical.

Not everybody has access to tape machines so I thought it would be nice to offer some magnetic ingredients to my fellow producers in case they can be of any use or even just fun to play with.

All sounds were created by sending pre-prepared signal to and from my trusty Revox A77 1/4” reel-to-reel tape machine via an elaborate all-analogue signal path of filters, multipliers and envelope generators and reverbs. These sounds all come from the recording sessions for my album Mysteries From The Magnetic Realm and several of these sounds and textures made it onto the album.

The pack contains 130 unique sounds including other worldly bursts of feedback, percussive echo strikes, short melodic phrases and saturated drones.

You are free to use any or all of these sounds in your own productions in any way you wish.

You can download the samples from Bandcamp here for free! . For this week's challenge, all your sounds EXCEPT your drums should come from this sample pack to make a new track of ± 2 minutes long. This means you might have to get creative with trimming, warping and slicing the sounds.
