Éclat Part 142
Our sounds today come via Ableton, who recently shared a sample pack of Oceanic sounds to mark World Oceans Day 2025. Coco Francavilla is the founder of Music For The Sea, a non-profit organisation which aims to encourage music-makers and listeners to engage with and advocate for the conservation of the worlds' endangered oceanic ecosystems.
You can read more about Music For The Sea's project on their website here, and download the samples for tonight's challenge from the Ableton website here.
Tonight's challenge is to make a track of ± 2 minutes long using at least one of the samples from the sample pack. You can warp, chop and mangle the sample as much as you like, and you can use any other sounds, synths and samples you'd like to to create your track.
Upload your track by 21:00 CEST to this Google Drive folder! And we'll start our listening session promptly at 21:00.
