Éclat Part 118

AND we're back!

I cannot begin to express how excited I am that Éclat Crew is back! After a 6 month break, I'm so glad that we're meeting again and can look forward to making music together for the rest of 2024. A huge thank you to Musicboard Berlin, who've made this possible through their Career Springboard funding.

I don't know about you, but I've found it hard to keep up a regular music-making practice without the structure of our fortnightly meetups. In preparation for this session, I decided to dust off my gear (LITERALLY dust off, what is WITH this thick black Berlin dust that sticks to absolutely everything?) and make some bleeps and bloops for today's session.

In this sample pack we have a mishmash of random things; a few drums, a few synth bleeps, a few samples run through some outboard effects, and even some vocal oooohs and aaaahs... Today's challenge is to use at least 5 of the samples from the pack, plus any other sounds or instruments that you like, to make a track of ± 2 minutes long. You can stretch, warp, and effect the samples as much as you like, so get creative. You can download the samples from WeTransfer here.
